About 3 miles south of the apartment lies Midlothian Snowsports Centre previously known as Hillend Ski Slope which is the UK longest artificial ski slope. Why not have a shot during your stay. You can also take the chairlift to the top of the hill and enjoy Edinburgh from above.

Have a fantastic day out at the Seabird Centre at North Berwick in East Lothian. Catch a train from Edinburgh Waverley down the coast to North Berwick and spend the day watching the birds in their natural environment. While there take advantage of the sandy beaches and great boat trips and don`t forget the ice cream and fish and chips !
